Online Teaching & Learning / LMS Management

I have extensive experience in Online Teaching & Learning, including planning and delivering lessons using a selection of platforms. I possess a proven ability to quickly master new enterprise systems, including Moodle and internal bespoke platforms. For example, I enhanced the learning experience by designing online resources for the college's MOODLE platform and by using information technology and Google Classroom. I have also been a contact point for trainers using a bespoke platform, dealing with pedagogical queries like level adjustments and technical issues. I am proficient in using all Microsoft products, Notion, Salesforce, Jira, Canva, Genially and basic audio and video editing tools.

Curriculum and Assessment Design

I have experience in curriculum and assessment design and have successfully designed and implemented curriculum and assessments across multiple LMS platforms (Moodle, Google Classroom, Halo, bespoke systems). I also designed bespoke courses and conducted needs analysis for corporate clients, including Ferrari World and Warner Bros. Currently, I am an Item Writer for Cambridge Assessment English.

AI Literacy, Terminology, and Strategy

In my role as  Teacher Trainer, I have researched, designed and implemented my department's AI Literacy Strategy and Guidelines. This provided a clear framework for other team members complying with the EU AI Act. I have completed several AI literacy and development online courses from Deeplearning.com, Google, and OpenAI. This demonstrates a commitment to continuous digital learning and an understanding of AI strategy. I hold a Generative AI for Educators Certificate (Google) and a ChatGPT Foundations for K-12 Educators Certificate (Common Sense Education & Open AI). This journey is ongoing, and I continue to take part in professional development opportunities in this area!

Teamwork and Leadership

I have experience leading teams of teachers, such as leading a team of 8 teachers to deliver a bespoke IELTS preparation course for Abu Dhabi Police students. Additionally, I provided effective teacher-training development, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Those who have worked with me know that I am a team player and often collaborate across departments. In my current job, I have provided translation and cultural input for the Marketing department, collaborated in resource creation with the Publishing team, and provided expert assessment input when working on the development of AI Assessment tools with the Technical Product team. 

Process Optimisation and Operational Liaison

I have experience driving continuous process optimisation and managing complex operational tasks. For example, I streamlined operational processes for trainer onboarding and course setup. I also optimised English for Specific Purposes (ESP) support courses by liaising with Vocational Teachers, ensuring alignment with vocational training objectives. I have taken part in many pilot courses, providing feedback that drives excellence at all levels. 

Quality Assurance and Performance Analysis

I conduct detailed quality assurance observations and performance analysis, providing data-driven reports on trainer effectiveness to inform hiring and development strategy. My approach ensures that training initiatives are continuously improved and aligned with organisational goals, maximising the impact of learning programs. I have also worked on tailored projects, with clients' requirements had to be implemented and monitored, to ensure quality and KPI delivery.
