Engaging Learning Experiences
I specialise in Digital Learning Design, turning expert knowledge into impactful, accessible learning experiences. I use proven methods and tools to build robust programs, ensuring all constraints are met while keeping the human element and effective teaching firmly at the centre of the design.
Digital Learning Designer
This section showcases my project on Digital Learning Design, where I created an AI Literacy course for volunteers at the International English Library. I focus on delivering learner-centred solutions that are accessible, consider language barriers and promote social learning. My portfolio demonstrates how the learner has been kept at the centre of the development and design of the course.
Discover how I delivered a customised learning experience accessible to volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, enhancing their digital and AI Literacy skills. This project achieved a distinction grade, highlighting my commitment to excellence in instructional design.

Learning Design & Development
-
Established Foundational Needs: I began by anchoring the project in learner data, identifying the critical need for a basic AI literacy course among the International English Library's volunteers and Committee members.
-
Systematic Methodology: I adopted the ADDIE model to impose a necessary, clear framework on the project, transforming my intuitive teaching approach into a deliberate, systematic design discipline with rigorous documentation.
-
Constraint-Driven Design: Facing a zero budget and a mandate to use existing technology (Google Classroom, Canva Pro), I made key decisions, including using Genially for interactive resources and creating a flexible structure with a self-diagnostic module to accommodate diverse knowledge gaps.
-
Pedagogy and Documentation: I leveraged my existing teaching framework (Engage-Study-Activate) and integrated established theory (Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction) to build formal design documentation like wireframes and storyboards, while consciously ensuring accessibility and low cognitive load (Universal Design for Learning elements) remained central to the material.
