Teacher Training Programs 

I have created and delivered specialised training sessions designed to meet the evolving needs of educators. My approach is focused on providing practical, effective strategies that can be implemented in the classroom or online learning environment. Professional Development should be about reflection to identify practical solutions.

AI Integration

Using AI Assistants & Tools to Create Materials training empowers educators to efficiently craft engaging and effective learning resources. AI is here to stay, and leveraging it pedagogically and ethically is a fundamental skill if trainers want to be future-proof.

Working with Groups

The Teaching Groups Online workshops provided practical strategies and techniques for fostering engaging and effective virtual learning environments. I believe social learning is key to development. I am constantly learning with and from the people around, so for me, people are the greatest learning resource. 

Engaging Activities

Using Listening Activities and Games Online sessions offer innovative ways to enhance students' listening skills through interactive and enjoyable online activities, and using games aligned to andragogy theories. Learning should be fun and exciting, and provide enough variety to address individual needs and preferences.

  • Focus on Needs and Effectiveness: I am passionate about providing trainers with the support they need to excel, and I design my training programs based on identified needs and feedback to ensure practical and effective strategies. 
  • Quality Assurance and Constructive Support: My practice is informed by extensive experience observing lessons (online and face-to-face) with a focus on quality assurance, providing constructive feedback, and offering practical solutions.
  • Empowering Professional Development: I believe in supporting trainers to reflect on their own practice, identify their values, and work with them to find strategies and techniques that lead to positive professional development.
  • People-Centred Learning: I promote digital tools, but I maintain the belief that people will always be at the centre of learning, and the human connection/desire to communicate is what primarily triggers language learning.
  • Mutually Beneficial Relationship: I view the relationship as mutually beneficial, as I have learned much from trainers across the years, and I actively share that acquired knowledge with others.
